Okay, I like the NHL. All of you probably knew that already. If not, you clearly haven’t been paying much attention in the last 6 or so months. The 2011-2012 regular season ended yesterday, meaning that playoff season is now upon us (fuck yeah). In typical Jordan fashion, I have a lot of thoughts and guesses on who will do what, and even more likely than that, someone is going to get butthurt by these (probably incorrect) picks. So, let’s have some fun and talk some playoff hockey, shall we? I’ll start with my Eastern Conference picks since that’s probably what most of you care more about. Catch my picks after the jump!
First, my round one predictions:
East:
WSH over NYR in 6 [almost], PHI over BUF in 7 [spot on], BOS over MTL in 6 [almost], PIT over TBL in 7 [almost]
West:
VAN over CHI in 5 [not all that close], LAK over SJS in 6 [totally wrong], DET over PHX in 5 [close], NSH over ANA in 7 [almost]
Now, here’s my guesses for round two:
VAN over NSH in 5, DET over SJS in 5, WSH over TBL in 6, PHL over BOS in 6
(I don’t think round two will be nearly as exciting)
